Paris - World Tour of Tribal Artifacts 7th to 11th Sep 2011

A fair of non-western art and craft will be held from the 7^th to the 11^th of September 2011 in Paris.   Among others, it will display fourth-century gold rings of the Pyu culture of Myanmar at Paris's Galerie Cédric le Dauphin.  Displays from New Zealand, China and Africa will also be part of this fair.

Mist Shrouded Pagodas of Bagan

This is an excellent video (made by Arie van Houwelingen) showing the pagodas of Bagan at sunrise complete with the mystical aura from the mists. Notice the gold domes and the simple clothes and lifestyle of the people.
